The "I Care for Les Îles" campaign is awarded a prize from excellence tourisme

For a second consecutive year, Tourisme Îles de la Madeleine received a prestigious prize at the ceremony, this time in the "Marketing Communication - Network" category.

On September 26, in Trois-Rivières, the Prix Excellence Tourisme's awards gala was held to promote excellence and innovation in Québec's tourism sector.

The team at Tourisme Îles de la Madeleine stood out in the category with its great creativeness and the engaging aspect of the "I Care for Les Îles" campaign, in particular via a few short videos that were created and directed by Île Imagin'air. The selected communication channels, especially Hint Marketing's digital strategy, were leveraged in harmony with the various steps in a visitor's journey. They therefore helped in reaching the right people at the right time; whether on the way to the archipelago or once at the destination.

This initiative for sustainable and responsible tourism was carried out in conjunction with the community and the industry's key partners. The campaign wouldn't have had the same impact without its stakeholders and the commitment of members and partners. The team would also like to highlight the organization's vision, which has been supporting and fostering sustainable and responsible tourism for many years.

Thanks to this innovative awareness campaign, and through this recognition, Tourisme Îles de la Madeleine is distinguishing and positioning itself, once more, as a leader in our provincial tourism sector.


Remember that last year, the destination received the highly coveted Tourism Excellence Prize in the "Sustainable Tourism - Network" category for its 2021-2026 sustainable strategy, developed with partners and following many public consultations.
