Havre-Aubert, 2019 September 19th - Born in Victoria BC, now in Nashville TN, brothers Bob and Clint Moffatt travel picturesque international locales, filming videos of cover songs and original numbers. On Youtube and other media, these clips gather dozen of thousands of views.
Just imagine "Have You Ever Seen The Rain" at the Grand Canyon, or Cyndi Lauper's "True Colors" in Thailand.
Their act is "Music Travel Love" (MTL), formerly called "Endless Summer".
The Moffatts are presently at Magdalen Islands (Îles de la Madeleine), a small archipelago in the middle of the Gulf of St-Lawrence. The Islands are a remote part of the province of Quebec in Eastern Canada, a community of French-speaking Acadians and people from British descent, and a unique touristic destination. They will film two videos and perform for six evenings at the restaurant Vent du Large, on the historic site of La Grave.
Owned by a former Cirque du Soleil musician François Guay, resto Vent du Large create dinner shows with unparalleled emotional impact. For instance, every evening at sunset, patrons are invited to vacate their tables and congregate outside, near the sea for fifteen minutes with Bach on cello. Le Vent du Large introduces for the occasion a more classical dinner-concert format, where the meal is served first - with Bach playing cello in the sun sunset. Only then, at 8:30 pm, the Endless summer concert begins.
Aerial videography will be done by Cédrick Jacob, a lover of the Islands, who was introduced to MTL through Vent du Large. Mr. Jacob will go on with the Moffats in an upcoming tour of South- East Asia.
