Îles de la Madeleine, February 11, 2019 - With a strong desire to promote the low season, Tourisme Îles de la Madeline pre-empts its #fousdesiles photo contest.
From February 11-23, 2019, all participants are invited to share their favourite moments on Instagram with the hashtag #fousdesiles! They are also invited to look out for the stories posted by @ilesdelamadeleine where weekly themes will be suggested.
The themes will aim at promoting various aspects of the low season on the Islands. Just as the months of May, June, September and October, the winter months are great to discover the archipelago. To that effect, the contest fits perfectly into Tourisme Îles de la Madeleine's communication channels, which consist of fostering the promotion and tourism development of the destination outside the high traffic period while showcasing the daily life and authenticity of Madelinots.
The photos posted throughout the duration of the contest will have the opportunity to be featured in the destination's various promotional tools. The winner will be chosen among 20 finalists and will receive the #fousdesiles letters created by Atelier Côtier (formerly known as Les Artisans du Sable).
