Îles de la Madeleine - 5th of July 2018 

Tourisme Îles de la Madeleine is proud to unveil its brand-new Bike Paths Map.

This tool provides three circuits—East, Central and West—as well as two secondary loops (one in Bassin and one in Havre-aux-Maisons).

The Bike Paths Map offers the following information for each circuit: length, recommended starting points, type of trail (loop or linear), type of pavement, change in altitude, “Bienvenue cycliste!” certified accommodations (i.e. cycling-friendly amenities) and main attractions located near the various circuits.

Transportation services for cyclists and bikes as well as businesses offering bike rental and repair services are also identified on the map. 

This brand-new map is a useful tool which will allow cyclists to better plan their stay in the Îles de la Madeleine.

Please note that this document complements the bike section included in the Official Tourist Guide and the bike section available on Tourisme Îles de la Madeleine's website.

The production of the Bike Paths Map was made possible through partnerships with Vélo Québec as well as CTMA Cruises, Le Pédalier and Véli-Vélo.

Cyclists can purchase the Bike Paths Map at the Tourist Information Desk or in the two bike shops of the archipelago—Le Pédalier and Véli-Vélo—for $3.04 plus tax.
