The Marché du Village is without any doubt the preferred meeting place between the archipelago's producers and their devoted customers. On market days, the Place des gens de mer bursts into colours and becomes the meeting place of all craftsmen, visitors and Madelinots.

This year, the Bon goût frais des Îles de la Madeleine has been on a mission to transform the gourmet celebrations and include those festivities to the Marché du Village activities. Thus, two "Grand Marché" will be held during the weekly market regular season, which will be lasting 15 weeks this year (from July 9 to October 15). The "Grand Marché d'ouverture" will be held on July 9, and the "Grand Marché d'automne" on September 24, near the end of the season, while the harvesting period is in full swing.

Each week, the Marché du Village producers all gather in the hearth of Cap-aux-Meules and invite you to stock up on delicious local products.
