Arthur the Adventurer was on the Islands recently to give a show for young - and not so young - Madelinot adventurers. At the same time, he was filming part of his next musical DVD, called "Treasure Hunt".
Last March, ten years after producing his first album, Arthur came back with his sixth collection of original songs designed to take the little ones on a fantastic voyage of discovery along the Saint Lawrence and to teach them about the abundant natural wonders that surround them here in Québec.
The music and lyrics of the 14 songs in Arthur's new musical DVD will transport children into all kinds of amazing places. Young adventurers will visit the Îles de la Madeleine, observe gannets on Bonaventure Island, marvel at Belugas in the Saguenay fiord, track deer on the Boucherville Islands, go climbing in the Hautes-Gorges-de-la-Rivière-Malbaie. Arthur the Adventurer has already done some filming in the Islands for the DVD called "From Sea to Sea". That DVD included a particularly haunting lullaby entitled "Blanchon de velours"(Silky Baby Seal).
The DVD should be on the shelves next October. Don't miss it !
