The lobster trap setting day is a major event that is part of the activities that identifies the Willie Déraspe Foundation and proudly represents the mission to promote and showcase the maritime lifestyle. Supported by a committee, it is an opportunity to highlight and recognize the work of ALL sea workers and celebrate the new lobster fishing season. Gatherings, music, activities and traditional meals... Unique events created for and by the Islands communities!
The Ocean at its best, located on the wharf of Grande-Entrée, within the heart of the fishing port. Seal fur products designed by Odette Leblanc, tidal clocks, original clothing, quality souvenirs, maritime cosmetics. Upstairs, come and see « Couleur pêcheur », an exhibit of photographs by Raoul Jomphe, artist. Schedule: From June to September, every day from 10am.
